Licensing, stated plainly: OTP-based Aadhaar eKYC is processed through Hypersign's licensed Sub-AUA partner under UIDAI regulations. Offline Aadhaar (QR/XML) verification is processed under UIDAI's Offline Paperless KYC framework, which does not require an AUA/KUA licence. The Aadhaar verification service runs on infrastructure hosted entirely in India (GCP), and is stateless: no verification data is stored beyond a masked Aadhaar reference ID, retained for 20 minutes and then permanently deleted.
